Last night at The Game Awards 2022 gala, Transformers: Reactivate was announced, the new game from Splash Damage, creators of games like Dirty Bomb, Gears Tactics, Brink or Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and that it will arrive next year on consoles and PC.

It will be a cooperative action game for up to four players, in which we will discover a new story in the Transformers universe, getting into the shoes of the Autobots in their fight against the Legion, “the greatest threat the Autobots have ever faced”. The closed beta is planned for 2023, but players can already register to find out before anyone else what’s new.

A new era for Splash Damage

Transformers: Reactivate will mark the beginning of a new era for veterans Splash Damage, as it is developed and published exclusively by the London-based company. As part of this new era, Splash Damage have recently acquired Derby-based studio Bulkhead (The Turing Test , Battalion 1944), and have been developing this new game alongside them. The Splash Damage and Bulkhead development and publishing teams of over 550 people are growing rapidly. Transformers: Reactivate is one of four original titles currently in development at the studios.
