The Witcher 3 shows next-gen version for the first time

CD Projekt RED has published a new video of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in which shows what the game looks like in its version for next-generation consoles and PC. This patch, which will be free for those who already have the game, will be available on December 14 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It had not been shown live until now, when its first gameplay has been revealed.
This almost two-minute long video reviews some of the key moments from the latest installment of The Witcher saga, focusing on the points that are improved in this version for next-generation consoles: there are many close-ups and detailed shots, scenes with strong lighting, fluid action sequences. What is The Witcher 3 nextgen update ?
From the company they have not yet specified exactly what kind of improvements we can expect from this next-gen version of The Witcher 3, although they do speak of dozens of visual, technical and performance improvements, including compatibility with ray tracing, response times faster loading times on consoles, a variety of mods integrated into the experience among other things. Additionally, this update will be accompanied by a wave of new content such as a Photo Mode and DLC inspired by Netflix ‘s The Witcher series, including new weapons and armor for Geralt.and alternate outfits for select characters. The latter will be available for the rest of the platforms, including PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
The Witcher 3 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. On December 14 it will arrive improved to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
