Tekken 8 confirm the first fighters with a gameplay
Bandai Namco has issued a new trailer for the fighting game Tekken 8 developed with Unreal Engine 5 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series where it gives the first brushstrokes of the story.
Tekken 8 has shown a teaser of its gameplay for the first time at The Game Awards during the early hours of this Friday. The trailer mixes the cinematographic scenes, which give hints of the plot, with edited moments of the game. The title is announced for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S , although it does not have a release date.
The video confirms the return of characters like Kazuya, Jin, Jun Kazama, Paul, King, Law, Lars and Jack-8 . “Father. Son. Mother. This family reunion is going to be explosive,” says Bandai Namco about the plot of the eighth numbered installment of the most popular 3D fighting saga.
The most spectacular fight with Unreal Engine 5
The scenes shown stand out, once again, for their spectacular visuals: the game is being developed with Unreal Engine 5. “The game features high-definition character models created from scratch with high-fidelity skin and hair, immersive graphics such as muscles that change to reflect character movement,” the studio says.
The stages will be destructible in Tekken 8 and will be packed with visual effects, Bandai Namco promises, which “add weight and atmosphere to each battle” with the aim that “every moment of impact becomes a spectacle, and every victory an epic story”.
