
PlayStation Tournaments is now available on PS5
Starting December 1, the first tournaments of FIFA 23, NBA 2K23 and Guilty Gear: Strive will be held thanks to the arrival of the PlayStation Tournaments functionality.
PlayStation announced today that the PlayStation Tournaments functionality is now available on PS5 after a few months of testing. From now on, the community will be able to enjoy this competitive gaming experience that includes improvements such as the possibility of registering from the console itself, a remodeled user interface, real-time tournament updates and an increase in the frequency of competitions for adapt them to a greater variety of schedules.
First tournaments (and prizes) of PS Tournaments on PS5
To celebrate the arrival of PlayStation Tournaments, the first official tournaments for PS5 have been organized, which will be held in FIFA 23, NBA 2K23 and Guilty Gear: Strive. Those people who want to compete in special events, challenges, competitions with leaderboards and much more can do it on either of the two consoles, both the new generation and on PS4, they can get prizes such as a DualSense Edge controller, Pulse wireless headphones 3D and even PS5 consoles.
These tournaments will be organized in a Win-A-Thon format, where the objective is to accumulate victories in these tournaments in order to move up the competition’s leaderboard. The competition will take place from next Thursday, December 1 to January 31, 2023.
