Bandai Namco has shared today an extensive One Piece Odyssey gameplay trailer where we are allowed to freely roam the city of Water Seven, making it once again clear to players that any fan of the manganime work will find reasons to get lost in this adventure. Thus, throughout just over six minutes of footage we take a look at some of the settings of the city. Specifically, they make a long stop at the headquarters of the Galley-La Company.

Aside from showing these locations, as well as some of the characters players will encounter, the video presents at a glance the Linked Arts , powerful special attacks carried out by three characters at once and that have to be unlocked by completing the corresponding Memory Link mission. “In it, players will have to fix the frayed memories of the world called ‘Memory’ and experience the bonds between crew members,” Bandai Namco said in a statement.

Six minutes of gameplay goes a long way, allowing those responsible to explain part of the training system that will allow players to collect cubes in various locations and use their power to improve their favorite skills, thanks to which they can have an advantage in combat.

When is One Piece Odyssey released?

One Piece Odyssey will arrive on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on January 13, 2023 with the aim of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the manganime franchise. In its mission, it seeks to be a role-playing video game where essential characteristics of the JRPG genre are combined with unique elements of the brand.
