
Need for Speed Underground 2 fan remake moves to Unreal Engine 5
Originally conceived for Unreal Engine 4, Ivan Novozhilov, creator of this spectacular remake that includes visual and playable improvements, announces that he has switched to UE5 for its best options.
At the beginning of May of this same year we told you about a striking fan remake of Need for Speed Underground 2 that Ivan Novozhilov was developing in Unreal Engine 4, a project that, according to its creator, has been transferred to Unreal Engine 5 for take advantage of the technology and features of the most powerful version of the Epic Games graphics engine. In addition, it has also been confirmed that, unlike some remakes of this same style that are only visual tests, this is a real remake , so it is playable.

According to Novozhilov, Unreal Engine 5 offers significant performance gains as well as a more stable physics system and more predictable simulation.
