Kojima hints at Death Stranding 2 at The Game Awards 2022
The Japanese creative mind publishes an enigmatic image in which three logos appear that are believed to be related to Death Stranding 2, one of the following Kojima Productions projects.
Hideo Kojima drops through a new post on his personal Twitter account that we will see Death Stranding 2 during the celebration of The Game Awards 2022 gala. The sequel to the first Kojima Productions game was confirmed by actor Norman Reedus at the end of May of this year, although at the moment we have not had the opportunity to see any images of the project. It should be noted that the title was mentioned in a recent leaked document from Sony, so it does not seem unreasonable to us to think that the first trailer for it is close.

Geoff Keighley, presenter of The Game Awards, has replied to the publication along with a GIF, implying that it will be an important announcement by the Japanese creative. In Kojima’s tweet we can see three logos that appear to be fictitious companies from the Death Stranding universe: in the first we can read that it is an “Automated Public Assistance Company”, while the third shows an octopus-like creature that has been attacked by spears. As if these clues were not enough, the image is accompanied by a text from Kojima himself that says that “a new journey begins” .
Other possible announcements at The Game Awards 2022
505 Games has insinuated this morning that they will also present a new project, while several insiders from the video game industry point out that during this edition of The Game Awards 2022 the release date of titles that are so important and widely expected by players will be revealed, (except from Death Stranding 2) like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Final Fantasy XVI. Remember that the event will be held on December 8th.
