Isonzo presents teaser of its new free expansion and warlike realism
The multiplayer shooter Isonzo presents the teaser of its new free expansion, with new events to expand its warlike realism
There are not a few fans of war action who were fascinated by the realism of Isonzo, a multiplayer shooter that places us in the Alpine battles that took place during the Italian front between the army of the Mediterranean country and Austria-Hungary in the context of the First World War. Its launch on September 13 has impressed players due to its more than successful combination of FPS mechanics with the events of the time, and BlackMill Games have taken advantage of this success to further expand their representation of war.
And that is why, as you can see in the teaser located above these lines, we now know of the existence of a free expansion that will be available from December 5. Named Caporetto, in reference to the historic Battle of Caporetto in which Italy went awry, this addition introduces a new German faction with more than 10 new weapons, as well as the first of three never-before-seen maps set in the aforementioned conflict.
From BlackMill Games, these contents stand out for their historical fidelity, since the uniforms of the German and Italian sides, as well as their weapons, have been developed respecting the particularities of the original designs. As if this were not enough, the expansion also gives us the chance to get paid DLC with which we can obtain cosmetics for the German faction.
Isonzo, a shooter that makes you feel like you’re fighting in the First World War
The work of BlackMill Games has surprised us for good with a proposal that delves into the particularities of the war without losing the accessibility of the FPS of the moment. Because it is a game that”does exactly what it sets out to do: plunge the player into the tidal wave of gunshots, trenches, mustard gas, and air raids that was the First World War.
