Gotham Knights adds Heroic Assault mode and is available today

Warner Bros. Games Montréal shares new promo art for ‘Heroic Assault’ in celebration of the launch Gotham Knights this new arena-based mode for up to four players.
Gotham Knights Heroic Assault mode is available today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC as promised from Warner Bros. Games Montréal. This new free mode tells a story independent from the campaign and allows four players to participate in a total of 30 levels of combat arenas in which they must face all kinds of dangers. Naturally, the challenge is progressive, so as the floors are cleared, players will fight more powerful enemies.

Starro the Conqueror, a villain from the DC universe that we had the pleasure of seeing in live action in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, will be present in the first mission of Heroic Assault as those responsible for the video game have revealed in a new promotional image. In case you don’t know the character, you should know that Starro is, broadly speaking, a giant alien starfish that came to Earth with the intention of conquering it and subjecting humanity to its control.
As we can see in the attached post, the version of Starro that appears in Gotham Knights is small compared to Gunn’s version, in addition to the fact that he appears to be inside a containment tank while the superheroes fight their minions.
An imperfect game that will please DC fans
It’s a game we’ve had fun with, but one that has also frustrated us. Its main story is entertaining, the few villainous secondary ones are a big draw, it’s packed with references that DC fans will fall in love with, and the Construction of the superheroes and the relationship between them is one of the best points of the title. However, it wants to be two things at the same time, without being brilliant in any of them.
