God of War Ragnarok gets GOTY at the Titanium Awards
God of War Ragnarok, Sony’s game for PS5 and PS4 has also won the award for Best Narrative Design 2022
We arrived to the final stretch of the year which, traditionally, is accompanied by the last great releases in the world of video games and also by the usual awards ceremonies in which the best game of the year (popularly known as GOTY) and the most important releases in different categories have been chosen.
Without going any further, during yesterday night, at the Titanium Awards of Bilbao International Games Conference (BIG Con) gala in which presenters Lara Smirnova and Claudio Serrano have distributed eight different awards including less mainstream and more specific categories such as Best College Game or the most innovative Indie title.
At this gala, the main winner has been God of War: Ragnarok, the Sony Santa Monica game for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 that has managed to win the award to Best Game of the Year and it has also been done with the award of Best Narrative Design.
On the other hand Elden ring has been made with the prize Best Game Design, A Plague Tale: Requiem has been named as the title with the Best Sound Direction and Return to Monkey Island, the new installment of the graphic adventure, the prize has been reached for the Best Art Direction:

Winners of the BIG Indie Contest
If we look at the smallest games or the most “humble” projects, Endling: Exinction is Forever, a game starring the last fox mom on the face of the Earth and is with a clear ecological message, has won the prize for Most Innovative Video Game, while Party Games de Tellmewow rises with the title a Best Basque Video Game and Nox: Chapter 1, arisen from a group of u-Tad students, wins the award for the best university game.
