Fallout series produced by Amazon will not adapt the video games history

Todd Howard assures that the Fallout series will take place in the same universe as the games, in fact, there will be references, although the story will be completely independent.

“We’re going to tell a story that fits into the world we’ve built, that doesn’t break any of the rules, that references things from the games, but isn’t a reiteration of the games, ” Howard explains. “It exists in the same world, but it’s kind of unique, so it adds to it. Also, people who haven’t played the games, who can’t experience how great Fallout is, can watch the series. When people I wanted to make a movie, they wanted to tell the story of Fallout 3 or tell the story of Fallout 4, and it was meh.
