Bayonetta 4 will be something unexpected for everyone
“Bayonetta 4 will be unexpected for everyone”, Hideki Kamiya is already talking about a sequel after Bayonetta 3
Platinum Games and Nintendo have taken their time with Bayonetta 3, and the truth is that it has been great since according to users the title has met expectations. However, a possible sequel to this title is already on the horizon, but it will surely take a long time to arrive. All this has been aproved by Hideki Kamiya in recent days on social networks.
Hideki Kamiya, CEO of Platinum Games and director of Bayonetta 3, has spoken on Twitter about the final parts of the game in question: “I thought it was nothing unexpected, but the last part of Bayonetta 3 does not seem to have been transmitted to anyone correctly, so I think Bayonetta 4 will be unexpected for everyone ,” says the CEO on Twitter.

This all stems from the assumption that the title could have been a semi-open world game, but Platinum dropped it for two reasons. The design was going to be more inspired by Astral Chain than NieR: Automata, but the idea was to have a big hub world that would send Bayonetta (or whoever) to different, fairly open worlds . Likewise, rhythm problems would have been evident with this formula, which is why it was discarded to shape the work we know today.
Kamiya will forever be in debt to Nintendo
The CEO of Platinum Games will be forever in Nintendo’s debt as he wanted to expand the game world even more for the fans, and he also wanted to challenge himself. He points out that the third installment is the demonstration of how Platinum Games could improve a saga that was already close to excellence. It also has a very adequate duration, replayability and number of secrets, but despite all this the graphics are disappointing.
