Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is the new adventure from Don’t Nod

The developer presents the first video for Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, this narrative adventure starring a couple of ghost hunters.
Focus Entertainment and Don’t Nod have announced a new post- Vampyr collaboration called Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which was unveiled at The Game Awards 2022. This is an action RPG with a lot of narrative in which we will play as two ghost hunters who will have to make difficult choices with dramatic consequences for the living and the dead. Its launch is scheduled for the end of 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
“We’re excited to reveal Banishers , a project born out of our longstanding collaboration with Don’t Nod,” said Focus Entertainment’s John Bert. “The team has an unrivaled talent for creating immersive worlds. They are incredible storytellers who know how to enhance innovative gameplay with narrative and emotion. That is exactly what they are doing with Banishers . Play as Antea and Red, and face supernatural forces
The Banishers is set in New Eden, 1695. “Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith are lovers and banishers, ghost hunters sworn to protect the living from the menace of lingering ghosts and wraiths. After one last disastrous mission, Antea is stabbed to death. death and becomes one of the spirits he detests so much. In the haunted jungle of North America, the couple desperately searches for a way to free Antea from her new situation , “says their story.
It will tell us an “intimate and powerful story between two fated lovers. Enter the life of the communities of New Eden as a banisher and solve cases of presences in a mystical and story-rich world full of supernatural creatures and ancient secrets.
